Is it worth buying fallout 4 if I'm not interested in investing money if future DLC? I made this mistake with Destiny… bought it, got hooked, had to buy every dlc to keep on playing, then realised actually the game is not that good and I'd probably just wasted 60+35 dollars on the base + dlc. grr. So is the base game worth buying by itself or is it a game which will be supported by future dlc?

There's plenty of content in the base game, plus the DLC is a long way off and not necessary at all. Have you played 3, or the objectively superior New Vegas? The game is good, but seriously flawed in terms of handholding, atrocious writing/acting and dumbing down of quests/dialogue choices (I just had a main quest choice where all four options were asking the exact same question in extremely similar ways).
It's well worth it for the base-game alone, and even better if you're able to run it on PC, where you'll be able to take advantage of mods. (I hear the Xbox One is also receiving similar treatment, although I'm weary as only so much can be added before things start conflicting. Debugging a load order on a console is going to suck.)
You really dont need the DLCs!!! Well worth it.
Mods, many mods tend to end up requiring all the DLCs, so I'd grab DLCs if you are planing on buying FO4 for mods as well.
The base game itself feels like it's worth the price, at least for me. That said as you would've seen with many people fighting over the game (split opinion on the game). I think both sides are reasonable (I don't think it is 10/10 masterpiece nor 0/10 POS though, I'd give it around 7~8 ish, but that's just me). I'd say whether you like FO4 would depend on how much you'd accept the changes they've made (A lot of RPG elements have been removed which seems to be the biggest issue that people have).
If you havent played New Vegas then get that instead lol and enjoy that and wait for Fallout 4 to drop in price.
And drop in bug count.
Though at this stage I would say being able to infinity jump up walls is a feature, rather than a glitch. Like Sonic Boom!
