I want to get the extra content for my Netflix via my chromecast so there are lots of to choose from I.e. Getflix etc

I think you are asking about Smart DNS services in your question?
$50 AUD for a lifetime Getflix is the best value for money…assuming the company or yourself lasts that long.
Just worried about the Getflix not working properly on chrome cast.
I use Getflix on the Chromecast for Netflix, Hulu, MLB, Youtube and some other apps. Works fine if you have a stable connection (I'm on a flaky NBN/ISP).

Hi, do a little bit of research before you buy/purchase anything. Chromecast overrides DNS settings to their ones. To my knowledge, you will need to make sure your modem/router allows you to change these settings at router level, not individual device.
It's not impossible, but just investigate before signing up for any subs/services.
Yup, no matter what service you use you will need to block the Google DNS servers from being accessed. If you have a ISP provided modem/router, particularly from the bigger carriers, you may have troubles.
This will be the same no matter what smart DNS service you are using.
