havent they also been known to sell counterfeits
From my experience, Mach 3 turbo razers are much better than sensitive.
Really? Aren't they basically the same?
The sensitive blades go bad after couple of weeks or say 6-8 uses, while turbo last atleast 15 uses or longer without irritation.
yeah actually the sensitive ones from SS don't feel like they last as long as the normal turbo ones
had i known that beforehand i wouldn't have bought 2x 8 packs during the last sale =/
Also Aldi sell the Mach 3's 4 pack for about $13. I'm still wanting to see something under 10 for a legit, non grey import.
what's wrong with grey import?
I don't know, it's implied they are inferior, they may infact be fine. If they are the true definition of a grey import, then it's an identical product.
My personal experience is that there is a difference. Might be psychological or something else, but I have found the quality/feel is different.
Theis was certainly the case for the last bunch I bought from the Shaver Shop - there was something 'different' about them to start with (colour/feel which in it self is not a deal breaker obviously), but I also found that a couple of brand new ones had to be chucked out as they had issues in springing back (so the blades would pivot but get stuck at one extremity and not spring into the centre).
YMMV.
For what it's worth, i have sensitive skin/prone to ingrown hairs and used to use a mach 3. My wife bought me a double edged safety razor and all my problems have gone away. Also, each blade works out to about 10 cents each
For those wanting to try something else, there are Dollar Shave Club or Oscar Razor (subscription service and cheaper). Have tried both, and Oscar is in my opinion just as good if not better than the big boys. They are German made blades. If interested PM for a referral code for $10 off your order.
FYI, Shavershop sells imported (grey market) blades…whether this matters or not is up to you but explains why they are cheaper!
