Killzone: Shadowfall (PS4) $10, Minecraft (PS3) $10, Borderlands 2 (PS3) $5 - Kmart

130

A bunch of games at K-Mart have clearance tags on them. The ones I saw that seemed worthwhile were:

Killzone: ShadowFall (PS4) $10
Minecraft (PS3) $10
Borderlands 2 (PS3) $5

There were a few others, but they didn't seem like 'clearance' prices to me.

I asked the lady at the games counter if these prices would be at other stores, and she said "Yes. But only if they have stock". So, same deal as other clearance sales … your store may have lots or none.

Looks like Kmart is getting out of the gaming space. They don't seem to be restocking consoles or games.

Yeah, it's odd because they have shelves and shelves of Lego Dimensions, Disney Infinity and Skylanders characters. I'm guessing they are only going to stock those??

There's probably a market for them. It's the 'in' thing now. Buy one game, add characters. Amiibo, Lego Dimensions, Disney Infinity. Same premise and they'll fly off the shelves.

One or two copies of Yoshis wooly world marked down to $30 at Kmart Lakehaven.

  • Any Xbox one games

    • There were tags on most games (including xbone) Unfortunately, I wasn't thinking at the time otherwise I would have taken a pic of the whole display. Sorry :-(

  • I guess the challenge is to find some stock.

  • Sorry, I should have stated that this was at Kmart in Belmont (WA) and they had no stock of Killzone (only the tag).

  • killzone is a criminally underrated game with graphics which STILL are near the best on the system - just be sure to play on medium or hard, once you get the OWL it's slick

  • Killzone was great
