Click Frenzy - Vision Direct 15% Off Sunglasses & Eyeglasses - CODE "FRENZY"

I was holding out buying a pair of sunglasses for the Click Frenzy sale and saw this on Vision Direct applied to a pair of Ray-Bans in my cart and can confirm the code worked for them. First time post so let me know if I missed anything. I am unsure if there are any terms and conditions for this offer as nothing was listed.

Doesn't work on sale items, however try using Discount code VE5 for an extra 5% for them. An idea would be if it's your first order to get someone to send you a referral code for an extra $10 off. See below my order with FRENZY code and Referral. Plus included in this was a Lens cleaning kit (value: $30*)

Subtotal: $127.95
Shipping: $0.00
Insurance: $0.00
Discount: - $19.19
Referral Coupon: - $10.00
Adjustment(Pending): - $0.00
TOTAL: $98.76

This is part of Click Frenzy deals for 2015

  • Are there items definitely authentic?

    • Yes. This is a reputable store.

"We guarantee that all of our products are 100% authentic. As an Authorized Dealer of nearly all major sunglass and eyeglass brands, Vision Direct can guarantee genuine designer quality eyewear, all supported with a full manufacturer's warranty." http://www.visiondirect.com.au/secure

Code doesn't seem to work on items that are already discounted.

    • Yep. My testing shows that the code will not work on any 'clearance items'.

  • Be careful! That's so hard to say a sunglasses is fake or authentic. But we have a vision direct's topic at whirlpool.net.au. Almost people said that company selling fake sunglasses. With my own experience, they're fake. Because their sunglasses will be shipped from HongKong and the sunnies which I ordered from them, had a case different with same one I bought at sunglasshut. Made refund and never buy anything from them. Sorry because my badly English

    • Interesting but it seems that many people (including myself) have had a very different experience than you.

First of all, they guarantee authenticity on any brand they sell. the glasses might not come with all the original accessories (e.g. case) but the glasses themselves will be the real deal.

This mob also scored 4 stars out of 5 on Product Review and 9.3 out of 10 on Trust pilot (based upon several thousands reviews).

Anyone familiar with these sites will know this kind of ratings there are virtually unheard of and due to the nature of how these sites work, putting up thousands of fake positive reviews is extremely hard if not outright impossible.

We can see some customers experienced longer than expected shipping. This can occur because not all glasses at visiondirect are in Australia (they may be shipped from Australia, Germany, the USA, Italy, and in Hong Kong with the goal to get the order to you as soon as possible). However, most people were happily surprised that they received the glasses very quickly.

However, this shop has been around since 2006, and we pay them with PayPal or credit card, i.e. we have buyer protection. PayPal and the credit cards will not tolerate a shop to have many customers using buyer protection. Also, it is certified by AU health funds for getting the money back.

  • If anyone wants to give me a referral code aswell let me know cause I will be buying today

I wrote a detailed review of Vision direct based on extensive research my team conducted into them as well as my own personal experience.

The post also includes some very important things to consider before buying glasses online in general (from any retailer).

Thanks I ordered a pair of Ray-Bans I will report back with any feedback

      • Me too - thanks for using my referral!

Just noticed the banner at the top of their website: "Purchase any pair of Ray-Ban Polarised Sunglasses and get a free pair of Headphones worth $40". Wouldn't expect them to be great quality, but free is free!

I've bought 3 glasses from them so far (2 Ray bans and 1 Oakley).
I've had good experiences from them. Any issues, they will get back to you and offer a refund/reorder etc.
I'm using this to buy another and use to claim against NIB before year end.
Very easy claim with my health funds as well.
Well that has been my experience.

    • A tip to those 1st time ordering, to get yours quick, look for those on 'Fast Shipping' - it's their way of saying its in stock. My last prescription Oakley glasses took 4 days from order to shipped coz it was in stock.

  • Just received my tracking number about 4 hours after placing an order noticed it is coming from Hong Kong must be flown over as it is 3 day delivery "fast shipping"
