So I recently bought an Asus Zenfone 2 through a deal on here for my partner and I can't seem to get my computer to detect it properly to copy photos from it.
I'm using Windows 7 and I've tried installing drivers etc but nothing seems to work.
Has anyone had a similar problem and worked it out?

Did you use the supplied USB cable?
Worst case, turn on Syncing and have the photos upload to a cloud storage like Dropbox/Google Photos/OneDrive etc etc etc.

The app isn't exclusive to Asus phones(I use it on my Galaxy S6)
You also need to download the Windows client. Link is at the top of this page https://www.asus.com/au/support/FAQ/1006952/
Try plugging it into a USB 3.0 port or one of the USB ports at the back of the computer. You really should upgrade from Windows 7 too. It's incredibly outdated and inefficient compared to Windows 8.1 and 10.
