  the code doesnt include chromecast . How do i know? because the PAYPAL10 code doesnt work on it .

  Its also on the exclusion list

  Apparently the new version doesn't do much more than gen 1 version?

  So no point holding out, if coming by xmas they would have released by now.

  If remeber correctly Gen 1 took very long time to get here offically from google.

    Sports WiFi AC and overall a lot better performance wise and more stable. I'd rather put in a few extra bucks and get the new one.

      Which is good and all except that Google has excluded Australia for countries receiving the new Chromecast.

      Doesn't mean it will never get released here, but don't expect it before Christmas. Just look at the history of Chromecast 1.
