Saw these today on sale at my local kmart. Dont know if nationwide or not but thats a great price for this phone. If you are looking for a phone in sub $200 pricerange doubt you could do much better?

The phone is network locked not carrier locked according to the poster posting the deal. If it's only network locked, then yes it'll work on Optus resellers.
apparently in the WP thread some people have been able to chat with optus support chat and get free unlocks
might give it a go, it is a great phone, very high quality… feels like a $300 phone for $129
you reckon this would work with yatango mobile? since they use optus?
