eM Client is often regarded as one of the better MS Outlook alternatives.
Free for single accounts but $49.95 for a PRO account, this allows unlimited accounts and commercial use. I know there's plenty of other multiple account clients (like Thunderbird etc.) which are free, but this works so well and retains a lot of the MS functionality without the problems and integrates with Google calendar and Gmail.
I found this non-promoted link which allows the PRO upgrade for $21.95. Need to sign up to a free license first,then upgrade.

  emclient is great, but im partial to postbox. its based on thunderbird and is more stable for me

  Have been testing this for awhile on 1 month free trial as pro and it is very good and fast.

  Syncs just about anything very quickly. Just be aware that vers.7 is imminent with major chat and conversation upgrades.

  Don't know if the above link will be available when it comes out but if you purchase now you will have to pay about another $20 to upgrade to the new version.

  Been using this for a while now, and would not use Outlook again, at least, not in its current design format.
  Having a unified inbox was the main feature for me, and it integrates well with Google Calendar as well as the Outlook.com calender.
  The search tool is pretty quick, even after searching through a decade worth of emails, on several accounts.

  There's two licenses you can buy - pro license which is version locked and a lifetime licence.
  Haven't seen an offer on the lifetime licence yet, but can recommend this as an Outlook replacement.

  If you use a South African VPN, you can get this for 199 ZAR, which works out at the moment to $19.45 AUD.
