Is this the real deal icecream made with mastic and salep that you can eat with a knife and fork?

  • This place makes the best ice creams I've ever tasted. Very unique flavors.

  • Saw this this morning and just so happened that my wife and I were having a date day in Newtown. Hit it up for dessert. It's really nice, we go here about once a month. I'd say better than cow and moon up the road.

Guys if you think the ice cream they sell is traditional Turkish ice cream, you ain't had nothing yet. My background is Turkish, both parents born there, we just got back from a 3 month holiday there and I can safely say we had traditional Turkish ice cream at least once every three days. The scooper guy wears the full Ottoman vest and Fez and has to use a long metal shovel type tool to dig out the ice cream. It is amazing how they make it and how stretchy it is. It tastes absolutely incredible. If you ever get a chance to go to Turkey, you MUST TRY IT. But until then, this ice cream is about 1/2 the taste, texture and flavour of the real thing. Good price by the way OP

    • what do you think of the ice cream at mado cafe in Auburn?

This brand is great but around $10 a pot in specialist food shops:

Worth trying Hakiki at this price.

  • Thanks, bought 2.
Wanted to try this place but the special decided it for me.
