Anyone know the cheapest Laptop with HD Webcam, Windows Pro & 8GB Ram, from a local Australian retailer?
I have tried to find websites that allow me to select/filter with these features to no avail
MSY incorrectly state on their laptop pricelist that the Asus P2520LJ-XO0090G for $749 has an HD webcam, but it has a VGA webcam

A bit of research and I found the Lenovo E550 has an HD 720p webcam at a cheap price.
I will try it out first to see if the 4GB RAM & graphics card can handle the extend display function of wireless projection (one desktop on the tv, one desktop on the laptop). If not, I will add more RAM as per your suggestion. Thanks!
Hi, there's a program called Sparkocam that lets you use a dslr or other camera as a webcam, not sure if this helps.

You're probably best off finding the cheapest laptop on the market with a webcam and Window's Pro and purchasing the 8GB of RAM separately.
Swapping out memory in a laptop is remarkably easy and relatively inexpensive — especially just for 8GB.
Unfortunately I'm not quite across HD webcams in laptop computers, as I've always had my Microsoft Studio HD Webcam that I connect via USB when needed.
