Hi Guys,
Just wondering those who purchased the aldi $1200 65inch 4k TV use this for solely console gaming? Do you notice any severe input lag? I bought a hdmi splitter and hooked up my GAEMS monitor and there is a huge huge huge delay when I move my character, does anyone know if there is any settings on the TV to reduce the input lag? I already upgraded the firmware and have motion flow and noise reduction turned off, I was thinking about returning the TV but the box has been destroyed and the last day to return it is tomorrow….the TV is great for watching movies, but for gaming it is just horrendous.

Read from: User #146325 (search in browser) downwards, there are many comments on lag and many theories on how to lessen the impact:
alittlelewd:
"a simple 4k upscaling hdmi cable is available
I'm looking into it, I had no idea such a thing existed and it's getting me excited as a fix to the input lag issue from 1080p sources. But from what I can find, 1080p 60hz sources can't be output as 4K 60hz (only 30hz).
Has anyone got one and could confirm if it works to reduce the input lag, so that console gaming becomes a lot more friendly on this TV?
Found a cheap eBay 1080p to 4K upscaler:

But like all the others I can find it will only output 4K 30hz. I'll keep looking for one that can do 60hz as that's pretty important to me if I'm going to be using it for gaming."
