Fallout 4 is $59 at jbhifi

yes but they are sold out now and the price is going to $69 on release

      • -1

Was just about to edit my comment. But jbhifi doesn't say its preorder so I assume it's out already

        • +1

          Nah comes out on tuesday

i've read that Fallout 4 after launch is going to be $79.95 or somthing, just incase you were planning to not go to Target

      • +1

Thought they were only sold out online?

      • +1
      • One store said $59 on release, but the one I spoke to yesterday said $79 on release, so who knows really haha.

      • JB hi-fi are not sold out entirely, only online. Go to your local store and they may have some stock.

I hate discs. I'd love to buy these things at retail but prefer to buy them online. It's shame they don't sell digital codes like discs. I'd happily pay $69 at retail for the code.

I'd happily pay $69 at retail for the code.

EB Games and JB Hi-Fi both sell download codes (printed on paper slips or receipts) for certain games - it's just that they don't make a big deal about them.

@SirFibbled.. I have the exact same issue. I dont want physical games anymore.. But its always so damn expensive to get them digitally!@

        • Back in the day, you used the disc to play.
If you were done with it, you could pass it to a friend or sell it. The digital world sure made a change to that system.

        • +1

@ATangk: now u can just share ur PSN login ID with ur best friend and they can get ur entire digital catalog for free… awesome! (and vice versa).

      • Interesting, Will need to check it out.

      • They are usually a lot more expensive than the disk versions. :(

    • Don't these come with a steam code for the game?

      • Disc and code I believe.

Currently $60AUD on PC @ GMG using code: SAVE20-NOVEMB-GAMING http://www.greenmangaming.com/#b

      • +2

Are you sure it's not US$60 ? I thought all their prices are in USD.

        • +1

You might be right - I was confused because the product is listed as Fallout 4 (AU)

Edit: Can confirm it is indeed $60AUD, because I switched to a US VPN and it showed $59.99 (pre-discount)

          Incorrect - https://greenmangaming.zendesk.com/entries/89092168-Currency

        • @Porthos:

My price is changing from $75 to $59.99 when using the US server on PIA.

        • +1

@jikijiki: I know. My point still stands.

Just like Steam, they change the price for different regions, but it's still charged in US$. So we get screwed over twice.

        • @jikijiki:

          Greenmangaming doesn't support AUD

what your seeing is the same as how fallout on the AUS steam store is $79USD, and $59USD on the US steam store

      • +1

Definitely $60USD or about $84 AUD when I bought it through GMG with 20% off code.

      • I like playing these sorts of games on console. Much prefer to use my controller on my couch infront of a big TV.
