Hey just a post to let people know that the People's Choice Credit Union "Mate Machine" promotion Latest Deal post is still going. I've recieved a $50 payment as of 6/11. Both the new account holder and the referee each get $50 in their account. You have until the end of this year to take part.
How it works:
- Open a new account, the Online Saver account is recommended as there are no ongoing fees.
- Purchase a member share by depositing $2 into your new account and make another positive transaction on the same account.
- Fill in the details on the "Mate Machine" page. You'll need your new member number and the existing account holders "Mate Code". This can be found on their June statement or you can use one from: People's Choice Referral Wiki You will also get your own Mate Code after you open an account.
- Wait for both parties to recieve $50.
The only issue I've found is that there Online I.D Verification can fail, so you might have to go into a branch or get a form sent out. Other than that, relatively painless and no limit on amount of people you can refer.
