Have phone, arrived timely, and as offered apart from manuals in Chinese and parts of the phone in Chinese including LeTv streaming . https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/LeTV. If free and with subtitles lol?

Contacted Geekbuying via messaging in Facebook and response within 24hours or less - send order no. then we have fixed it. On opening phone still without sim
On phone it reads - the page at "applestore.officialfreegiveway…..

OK to me it seems a scam or worse.

I am sure I would get more than a free 6s BUT at least s/A.

        I hereby say nothing at all as my brain is still coming to terms with whatever it is you are trying to ask/say/randomly mashed out on a keyboard.

          Let's see if this not 'randomly mashed.- but stepped out in order of happening -
          —1. Purchased LvTV phone.
          —2. On receipt of phone, the manuals are in Chinese and also much of the phone operating/apps ect.
          —3 Geekbuying advised by Facebook messaging that that have (remotely) fixed the phone.
          —4.. When the phone was next opened, the 'scam message' is there on the phone.

          It was with hope - the scam (?) is brought to OzBargain members attention and if there was any suggested strategy from members who have seen this or know what to do.

          it is with hope that you look at the proof that the phone has spyware from the remote fix. Strategy to be suggested is to return the phone for a new one without spyware or accept it and the scams that go with it and move on.

    scam, of course. why would a phone maker offer another companies phone as a prize?

    I am guessing the OS on your phone has lots of spyware/malware built in. Not good at all.

      Thanks 142 apps and Chinese. will soon install my preferred virus/maleware scanners even though the pre-installed one works well on other android tablet.

      All reviews to date have been very high. Thanks for heads up.
