I am thinking about grabing some thing similar to this for a one off resistor replacement task on a micro PCB.
The res is only 2mp but at $16.99 I am thinking it may do for the task at hand.
5MP version are available starting at around 10x the above figure.
My question is, any one out there using a similar product who can offer any feedback?
$16.99 is no a large amount of money to find out for my self.
I also figure it may come in handy for random tasks down the track.

Look for companies that offer e-parcel. shipping time is usually about 2 weeks, which is impressive for chinapost.
I used one costing about $45 5 years ago. And because the actual imaged area is so small. Eg inspect the globs stuck along the side of a human hair, my cam at 640kb was amazing. photos were useful and clear medically. I guess not up to a professional level.
Your ebay item looks identical, and they will likely be lieing about the resolution (interpolated).
But my advice, buy it they're great to use.

for all my cheap electronic needs I usually purchase from aliexpress now, I like the fact that you can order it by the best selling which ebay hasn't allowed for years and more people buying usually means better product.
