all fuel pumps are calibrated to this…………….
What if I pull out early?
I think the car will be left wanting more
That's how you keep 'em coming back. ;)
Whilst this is a good deal, I still feel uncomfortable supporting the company that underpay their workers
You could leave them a tip to relieve your conscience - like Aussies do in Asia (and compulsorily in USA)
The tips will end up in the Franchise's pocket as well. They have CCTV monitoring staff to make sure none ends up in their pocket.
They have people monitoring CCTV to make sure they don't accept tips for themselves from a willing customer?
Lol
Hi jv. u mad bro?
… a good chance to try ALL the new flavours.
The boss will ask them to hide anything less than 50 cents. That includes Chupa Chups. Or their pay will be further cut.
always a good call if u need fuel :)
Except the fuel ends up costing you at least 4 cents more per litre
Beg to differ, the 7-11 near my house actually often has the cheapest fuel on this side of town
Same, 98 is always cheaper than the majors even with a fuel docket
@tuzii: That fuel docket thing is a total scam, rarely do I ever find it to be cheaper. The Caltex (non-woolworths), Matilda and 7-11's around here are consistently better priced.
same 7-11 is the same if not cheaper consistently.
@tuzii: Never fill up 98 at 7/11 lol if you love your car enough to give it 98 go to Shell or BP. Family friend's car blew up filling up at 7/11.
@stevensx:
7/11 (mobil 98) or united 98 for me.
both give me more milage 50km-80km more@tuzii: I also only put 98 in my daily driver, it has never tasted anything less. But clearly your car is alright if you're chucking 98 in there, don't go to 7/11 - heed my warning!
@stevensx:
my local 7/11 and united are new sites, not old dingy ones from the 70's.
a family friend works for gallagher fuel systems and reckons they both have the cleanest 98 being new sites.@tuzii: Interesting. Recent independent testing (early 2015) showed that of all the fuel stations, Shell was the most pure 98 Octane, then BP, then Caltex and last was 7/11's fuel which was the most diluted demonstrating around 94 octane. Anyway, it's completely up to you where you fill up :) peace out.
Last time they ran this deal, I had to take turnip to the ER with acute brain-freeze.
Will try balancing it out with hot coffee this time…
Does this offer only cover service stations or extend to convenience stores?
it'll cover all as it did last time.
Last time i tried taking advantage of this I got the coffee…then asked for a jelly frog (20 cents)…the worker declined! complained to 7-11…got 10 free coffee vouchers :)
And then the worker got his pay reduced by 10x 'price of coffee'
although the worker was rude and made me feel like a thief…when i contacted 7-11 I did not provide them with the workers' name, appearance although they kept asking me for it
Get the Slurpee app and register to get a free Krispy Kreme doughnut. Takes 2 seconds to make an account since it doesn't require an email confirmation. Whoever owns [email protected] I'm sorry for the spam emails from 7/11.
Sounds like a good excuse for Krispy Kreme time! That and a slurpee.. the vitamins and trans fats are screaming my name :)
I remember when you could get a free Slurpee on 7/11 day without any other purchase.
On average there are 53 grams to 60 grams of sugar in a large frozen Cola or Slurpee – that's equivalent to 12 teaspoons of sugar.
Sorry, this page isn't available
FB now shows on the 7-Eleven Australia page:
"We have removed our earlier 7-Eleven Day post. We are really sorry about this. We never meant to offend anyone"Load $1 myki and get free medium slurpee.
Pumps are calibrated to deliver a minimum of 2 litres of Fuel. Chupa Chups or kids lolly may be a better option.
