Yup, just google "elephone battery" and you'll see a massive, recent debacle where they lied to everyone over the size of the batteries in one of their top-end phones.

The P7000 and the P5000's have had massive issues with battery capacity because they were literally not the same capacity as stated by the manufacturers.
If you're following the P8000 threads on XDA the software side of things seems to be okay. It was the P7000 that was notoriously bad with build quality
Sorry OP, but I need to neg this deal to make others aware of JD's terrible customer service. I purchased a phone on the 21/10/15 and it was 'shipped' with a tracking number received on the 26/10/15 - great I thought, within the shipping timeframe. No update to tracking information. I sent an email to customer support yesterday to enquire about it and was told they no longer send to Australia and to cancel the order.
What a joke! Atrocious customer service - they've held my money all this time and wasted my time when I could have the phone by now from another, more reputable company.
which phone was it? I also have a Xiaomi Note 2 phone on order and there's no information on whether it's shipped or not.
