Firstly I beg your understanding for my poor English :-)
This is my first article to post to oz community.
I ordered a FujiXerox CM225FW from Inkman on 16th October.
And I received it 19th.
I was very busy, so I couldn't open/check it on the day.
I opened the box and tried to set it up on 22nd Oct.
But touch panel on the printer doesn't work properly. So I couldn't finish to set it up.
(The printer is still as new, never print yet, all the toner is still new in the printer and printing counter is zero.)
Then contact Inkman via the online chat.
The Inkman support team said, I need to contact FujiXerox to replace the printer. And they can't do anything for this printer.
I think if happen something when I use the printer, of course I need to contact the manufacturer, but this case is different.
I've got faulty item from the seller. But the support person said, they can't do anything.
Does it make sense?

And another problem here. I contacted to FujiXerox on the same day, 22 Oct.
Then I've got the case number for it. And the person said, they will send replacement within 5 working days.
But still nothing happened yet.
I can't use new printer roughly for two weeks already and I don't want to wait anymore.
So if possible I want to buy another printer from local shop, and I will ask the refund the faulty one.
If Inkman denied the refund, what can I do for this problem?
Can I ask mediation to somewhere for this kind of issue? (eg, fair trading?)
Raise a dispute when paying by PayPal or credit card.
