  Dumb question….but what's the general consensus on how this would look to an employer or a resume'? Is it even appropriate to put it on there?

    You can put anything you want on your resume but unless you have no other relevant qualifications (eg. going for a job as a kid) I wouldn't put something like this down. Not to say you can't learn something from them but like a book you read you generally wouldn't list it as it's not the same as formally assessed education, etc.

      I actually have a university degree and will be looking for work shortly. Was tempted to put 'Cert IV in X (Currently Completing)' below education and certificates section of the resume' just to fill it in a little bit. Some people say yeah chuck it in that you're in the progress of completing it to fill up resume' space and others say don't do it. But you think don't do it?

        You don't need to worry about filling space. If you are currently doing a traditional course (different to the these website courses) then put it in because presumably it's relevant and of benefit for the reader to know.
