  • Leave this to a professional. You will need to get a quote from a licenced gas fitter. Definitely not a DIY job.

  • no

  • Proper way is to have your house prepped (pipe works installations etc) for LPG gas use. Then connect to a LPG bottle. People have cooked in small 4Kg BBQ gas cylinders but I don't think it would be a practical solution for 4 people. Also, don't use LPG cylinders inside the house, even the small BBQ ones. Even though the small ones are legal, the risks outweigh any benefit.

  • Have you considered INDUCTION?

IMO Induction > Gas if you have good pots.

    • Induction is fantastic if your pots work!

You can't do a LPG installation yourself.

Getting it plumbed to your house is much better.

  • You need different burners for LPG & Natural Gas so if you are going to buy a new appliance you need to let them know so the burners are correct.

  • I just attach an lpg bottle to a bbq and cook outside. You can also get normal burners. It doesn't require any pipe works. Just that I never bring it indoors. Using LPG bottles is more expensive than electricity for cooking but flavour and speed is way better for me.
