Is Ultra Street Fighter IV worth the buy? I'm thinking that I should get the Street Fighter V instead.
It's worth the buy, SFV is still a little while away, and is a different fighting system. You may just wanna pop in the old game now and then (just like some people still play SF2). The PS4 includes all previously released costumes as well.
That said, if you're looking to play online: people online are very good, and its hard for a newcomer (which it sounds like you are), and connection from Australia is poor at best. Most of the online traffic will move to SFV soon, so there'll be even less people to play with.
I reckon I'll just wait for Ultra to hit a sale and then pick it up to muck around with the SP and local vs. My 35 cents isn't breaking the bank, after all.

Is there still a way to upgrade SFIV - Arcade Edition to Ultra ? I have the PS3 digital edition for SFIV - AE,I can't find any upgrade DLCs on the PSN store
Capcom likes to sell the same game with slight tweaks over and over and over. An upgrade is unlikely to ever be a thing.
the ultra upgrade is available on steam, however. i'm surprised it isn't available for the consoles. I remember buying the AE upgrade for my SSF4 on the PSN (before i jumped on the Humble Capcom bundle last week and got Ultra for the PC)

Anyone know if the PS3 SFIV arcade stick is compatible with PS4? I'm guessing it should still just work plugging into USB port.
I believe that PS4 sticks/DS4 are compatible with the PS3 as of one of the updates awhile back, but not the other way around. Because buy it all again.

The Australian community sucks compared to Japan and the U.S. over there they help newcomers out while here it's all about mocking the crap out of your opponents til they stop playing. If you see a complete newbie, make sure his/her experience is hell so they never play again.

Was finally able to get this once I got home tonight. It didn't work on my Windows phone, it then didn't work on my Windows desktop. Only way the purchase worked was turning the PS4 on.
It's $26.95 now in the AU PSN store.. I guess the deal has now expired? Or price has been fixed?
