Is there a legitimate way to rapidly earn carrots via EB World? I'd like some of the niceties of Level 4, but the costs of reaching those heady heights are insane. I thought today of seeing what the trade-in value of a new game is, finding the game cheap somewhere else, and taking it in to EB for credit. Rang EB this morning, trade-in value for Halo 5? $32. So no dice there.
Besides sick people with 100,000 carrots, how do people legitimately hit level 4?

Could be like that guy who would purchase games from Target on Clearance and trade in to his local JB, but he ended up gettng a ban when they picked up.
You could subscribe to the game informer magazine and automatically get level 3
I'm about 140 carrots from Level 4 but I don't remember spending that much…
It racks up quick when you buy a next gen console. Especially if you're one of those weirdos who buy both. Wow! Now you can play all the same games on TWO different platforms! Exclusives why!
I know a guy, who, somehow, had someone putting carrots into his account. When he checked every now and then, he had purchases for 3DS games and didn't even have a 3DS, also 2 purchases of an xbone, which he was fairly certain he only had one. He told them and they fixed it….. After he hit Level 4 :3
I haven't got many carrots from EB Games in years, because there have been almost no new games outside of steam indie games since mid 2013. But after a while you see the benefits of level 4 really aren't worth the money.
I'm only on Level 2 :( gonna take a decade to reach Level 4 I reckon. I've been buying heaps of games for my Vita but mainly digital. If only I could get physical copies from EB… i'd be much closer to Level 4….
Regardless, you will need to spend a crap tonne of money at EB games…
