I price match a macbook from JB-HiFi to them. They agreed the price match, then I pay with my Amex card, 1st time card rejected because of the fraud guard, I called Amex and back to them, they said the payment has been gone through. I was happy and wait for my macbook…

Macbook still not arrived and I found in my Amex statement that the money has been charged twice but also all refunded and they never told me. I called them and they said the card seems rejected by their credit system. Alright, I just pay with my debit Visa card linked to my bank. Again the bank blocked the money for 1st time so I called the bank and asked OW staffs to try the payment again in 20mins…

Got a call from them saying they still cannot charge the money, and passed the case to their credit department and will be back to me in 2 days

They didn't call me back, so I check with the bank and the money has actually been charged on 20th but refund again on 21st. The bank people said there's no way they blocked the money because the money has actually went out!
Again, I call OW guys and they just said still waiting for credit department and nothing can be done…

I have made 20+ phone calls in total and my order still not been processed. I am really regret why I didn't just place the order in JB-HiFi in first place.
And I think it's really common that credit or debit card block the transaction for security reason, so it's either their credit system is faulty, or more seriously, they use that way to dodge the price match and avoid money lose. Either way how can they keep silent if something didn't work or spent a whole week and still not fixing the problem!
I am really pissed and thinking to report to fare trade but I am not sure I do have the strong reason…
Anyone with the same experience?
