This weekend Dick Smith advertised a 10% off Macs, so I purchased this MacBook Pro by following the link in their email:
http://www.dicksmith.com.au/macbook-pro/apple-macbook-pro-13…
The offer had the following conditions: "Excludes iPad and built-to-order machines. Offer can not be used in conjunction with any other offer. Only available in selected stores or online.", so I didn't attempt to use any of the other deals they had - including $100 off for purchases over $1,000.
However, when checking the transaction today, I noticed I paid the same price the laptop is currently listed at - $1,889.10. In other words, I didn't get 10% off as listed in the offer I clicked to make the purchase.
I've checked the original email again and it doesn't include a special code for the 10% discount, so it should have been applied automatically.
What did go wrong and how can I fix it?
Are you sure that's not still the discounted price? $1889.10 is a pretty irregular price, and is 90% of $2100. I don't know what the DSE's regular price is, but it seems more likely to me that the sale is still ongoing, especially since Apple's price is $2300.
