Is there any wifi router, ONLY CONNECTED BY ETHERNET, that can duplicate the existing network?
I have been advised that this setup always creates a new network.
I don't want to use wifi extenders as they are crap and drop out and too much hassle

I was thinking of doing that, but does that cause any 'confusion'?

Thanks for your suggestion - as per below I spoke to Apple & it can be done with their Airport Express (AE), while still allowing the modem/router to send its wifi signal, so I will have three points in total (modem/router plus two AE). Can use same SSID & password for all three.
Thanks again.

Yeah, spoke to Apple technical support & I can do it with this using the one SSID & password. Thanks.
Just make the SSID and key the same.
