Q2 - Did your dog like the taste?
- Yes
- No
Good luck answering that.
Haha it is pretty important for them to know. I believe there was a particular product that a company was developing to help weight loss in obesity prone dogs, and they found out that even Labradors wouldn't eat that diet…
How long is the supply for? One month, one year, lifetime?
i can only imagine it would be "one chew", so i guess a month for one dog
edit: tho not sure how they will deal with the size of dog tho. might be options on the day for small med or large dogs (i hope)
I recently received a sample from them through an event. Can confirm it is 1 month chew.
is that one month in dog months, or human months?
Still waiting for all my other items to be sent :/
Its about time they stepped up their game.
Thanks for this. Just got a puppy, so this will be useful.
A quick bit of advice for anyone getting this freebie who also happens to have a cat. Make sure you don't leave it lying around were the cat can get to it, and watch your dog swallow it when you give it to them, so that there's no way your cat can end up eating it. Some flea/tick treatments for dogs are extremely dangerous for cats (can make them really sick or, well, dead), particluarly if the cat ends up having a dose that's meant for a big dog. I'm not sure if this applies to this product (all that's said on their website in this regard is 'NexGard® should be used for dogs only.'), but I advise making sure there's no way your cat can get to it, if you have one.
Drug doses for different species can indeed really vary enormously depending on the drug. (eg. Paracetamol in cats/dogs in comparison to humans). Also please be careful in splitting doses, they can often either get not enough dosage for it to be effective or be unnecessarily overdosed (which may result in illness).
chew your dog or puppy
OK
Does this work on humans? I don't have a dog so thinking what to do with the free sample. Can't let a freebie pass me by without being taken…
Does this work on humans?
yes… but i had a great deal of trouble scratching myself with my back leg and folding over to lick my own balls……. your mileage may vary…
soon
i checked as soon as i saw your reply.. got mine thanks :)
Claimed. Thanks OP
Got my sample and read the leaflet with it.
'One Nexguard chew, once per month, kills fleas and ticks. Including paralysis ticks, 'brown dogs' and bush ticks.
How do I give my dog something that says it kills 'brown dogs'. I admit my dog is mostly black but I'm still not comfortable with that.
I love how they ask for feedback on things like dog food.
Should really be only one question with 2 possible answers:
Q - Did your dog eat it?
