It's a voucher not cash back.

    Your math needs some work.

Close enough We get what they mean I think, they were thoughtful enough to set up the bundles.

      • +6

        Thoughtful? It's called business.

        • Exactly, that is why I did not say it was nice of them.

They were thoughtful in how they could package their products to make it convenient for the customer to purchase and get good value.

I think that is a good thing for everyone.

        • @SamR: No, they were clever in finding a way to take advantage of the eBay voucher with items they thought would sell.

        • @Where's_That_Cake:
          That is what I said.

        • @SamR: No, your wording implies that businesses care for our well being. Thoughtful is not the right word Sam.

        • @SamR:

Any chance you're related to Sam Robinson, MD of warehouse1 and previous Operations Manager of megabuy?

        • @OzBragain:
          No, of course not

          Look at my history.

I just thought it was a good idea to package offers for the eBay deal, lots of sellers have $99 deals that would sell better at $100.

      • Huh? Close enough is misleading. Dunno about you but most people aren't fond of businesses who use misleading advertising.

    • +1

Exactly, it's not like we only have to spend $110 to buy two Toshiba 1TB drives. We still have to pay $160. We will just receive $50 eBay voucher later on to buy something else (useful or junk).

  • +6

This is kinda a misleading deal. You still have to pay for the full price anyway.

      • +2

        example: 2 x Toshiba 1TB Portable $160 ($110 after $50 click and collect Voucher – so $55 per drive)

Math isn't my strong point so I'm happy to be corrected but as I understand it this is roughly a 24% discount which works out to $121.90 for 2 drives and not the $110 you're claiming.

$160 for 2 drives plus a $50 voucher is $210 worth of goods for $160

    This is spam

OP, please note that the ebay voucher is a deal provided by ebay, and we use it towards the next transaction, NOT on the item you are selling.

If OP want to count towards the item that OP is selling, that means we have to do a ratio on the transaction done with you and the future transaction which is going to use the voucher we received from ebay, therefore, the price you stated above is not exactly correct.

  • Spam. Please delete.
