Not sure if this is that great deal.
    $134 for kindle paperwhite http://www.eglobaldigitalcameras.com.au/amazon-kindle-paperw…
    You save around $90 anyway.

That doesn't include a case or postage or a $100 voucher… I already linked to that deal above anyway…

I think it comes to about $62 in my pocket or $100 in eaby voucher (must spend by 30-Nov). Personally I would keep the $62 in my pocket.

Do you still have a $50 voucher from the last ebay craziness? Should be able to use it. Then the equation would be $12 in your pocket or a $100 eBay voucher.

        • @inherentchoice: ???????

Of course you can use the $50 voucher for something else too. But there's only a week until my $50 voucher expires.

Rather than having $150 sitting in vouchers it's better to have a $100 voucher.

          So we could pay $134 to eGlobal + $25 postage + $8 case = $167 cash

Personally I would prefer this deal and effectively get a $100 eBay voucher for $62. So I'm actually glad eGlobal cancelled my $134 order. But for me I'm using my $50 eBay voucher for this deal so it's almost a no brainer at $179.95 cash with $100 voucher, as opposed to $167 cash and no $100 voucher.

        • @inherentchoice: the $134 deal is better. You'll get $100 back and end up saving $4 and shipping, but I can get the $100 voucher off another purchase, and you can't.

      • You can have a case for less than $7

        • Okay so that would make it like paying an extra $65 for a $100 eBay voucher.

        • +1

@inherentchoice: only if you can't get another $100 from another purchase. If this is the only ebay purchase you make this month then you will be ahead, but if there's a second qualifying purchase, you'll be behind overall because you used up a $100 voucher to save only $65.

        • @lostn: Been waiting and looking but can't find anything that appeals to me or that I need. TBH I still haven't pulled the trigger on this.

        • @inherentchoice: fair enough

        • Does the 212ppi and 300ppi have the same dimensions? i.e. will the case work on both?

      • Get the case on ebay from china $12

  • All these deals are killing me.

    Not available to SA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    • I know right!!

I got this from Dick Smith pickup-from-store at start of the month for $139.30, the case on this doesn't appear to be the Amazon leather case either (you can get MUCH cheaper cases with the magnets in the cover for the auto sleep/wake function on opening/closing or DIY with magnets/magnetic strips), local one from DSE was ad-free, can't comment on this one.

It probably is better to look for something else to qualify for the $100 voucher

  • any deal for kobo HD? need one for borrowing books from library/overdrive

  • You can buy this for $199 + $2 item and get $100 voucher if this makes it any better. Effectively for $101 with $100 ebay voucher.

    Also, you get Australian Warranty.

PS. I bought this yesterday with a $2 multi-headphone adapter.

    • That's the 212 ppi version. I think that was previously $104: https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/214065

Apologies pointed to the wrong link. This is what I bought which is a 300 ppi version. And it is $199.

PS: I can't update link in my earlier comment.

        • Your one has special offers (aka ads), his one doesn't. Or at least it doesn't say.

The special offers version is always cheaper.

This one is $20 cheaper with a free case as well.

It is the Japanese 2015 300DPI version; not sure how the Japanese version differs.

Same seller as in my comment above. Cost $199 without cover.

  • THAT CASE IS UGLY…
WE PICKED ONE FROM EBAY FOR JUST 8.53 AND IT LOOKS GOOD.

  • Been trying to contact the seller to ask if it's special offers or not, but he doesn't reply.
