As a home safety device, the NetCam HD provides peace of mind, allowing users to monitor their home from anywhere in the world. Featuring infrared night vision for clear viewing even in low or no light, plus wide-angle video to get a better view of more of the room, users can peek in on their pets any time of the day! The NetCam also allows users to save live video to their mobile device for easy sharing and provides clear digital audio to listen in on the room as well as see it. Working with the NetCam app, users can receive email alerts, notifying them when motion is detected and sending them a snapshot of the motion.
The WeMo Switch and Motion allows users to be altered when motion is detected within a three metre radius, when any electronic device, such as a lamp, is plugged into the WeMo Switch. Accessed via the WeMo app, any device plugged into the corresponding WeMo Switch will be told what to do when motion is sensed. The app also allows users to create rules or schedules based on customised intervals; for example, turning a lamp off if no motion is sensed in the room after 10 minutes.
