  • Hell yes!!

    50 billabongs for $20 arent bad…

    • Never mind

  • Yeah, saw this on the Woolworths catalogue a day or two ago

  • Jeebus, I just spent $30 on Magnums last week, they were $6 per box of 4/6 minis at Coles, finding it hard to justify spending more on ice-cream…but then again it IS a pretty good deal

    • +2

Yeah but if you have the freezer space (and the discipline) then they can last a long time.

      • yeh if only my freezer was big enough…

        • +2

yeh if only i had an actual fridge

        • +1

You could always take them out of their boxes too, that makes a big difference

      • +1

I have 2 full sized freezers =) The discipline however…my mother is going through them like no tomorrow, only about 2 and a half boxes left from the original 5 I bought!

    • +6

But at least spell checkers are still free.

    • +3

      Just a troll

    • eye iz wun tarded inderviduel

  • Decent price for some quality fat and carbs.

    • If you're going to put it on, might as well enjoy it.
That or spread them out 1 a week for loosing a bit of weight and it's a good incentive.

  • +2

Nice frosty fruits for 50c each.

Actually ignore that- coles have single packs for the same price - Peters Frosty Fruits 8 Pack for $4. Much better not having to buy 5 packs

  • SWEET!!!

  • +2

Coles have 16 Drumsticks for $14 at the moment. Still a good deal.

  • Best deal from Safeway this year!

  • off to stock up 2mo fo shiz

just got back from my local woolworths (Liverpool) and no mention of this deal unless its starting tomorrow ? , what a shame

    • +1

Reading the deal listing would be a good starting point. The OP clearly stated the date this deal starts.

      Sigh.

      • +6

        Go to Coles.
They have cheaper Drumsticks ATM ($14 for 16).
Along with Frosty Fruits and Choc Wedges for 50c each- which its th same as this deal.

        • Fair call!

        • what about maxibons?

  • +2

Yep - Coles is cheaper. Save $5.99.

  • I don't trust drumsticks on sale, I bought it twice before and the cone was soggy and not crisp at all. It was on sale for a reason.

    • Or you just bought them from a bad woolworths were the perishables worker takes forever to do their job, so the icecreams half thawed before they are finally stacked in the freezer?

I've bought drumsticks on sale plenty of times, if I think back the only time I have landed a dodgy box they weren't on special and not bought from my regular store.

    • So your theory is they had a few hundred thousand drumsticks that went soggy, so they though they'd have a sale to get rid of them? And somehow it's all happened again?

    • did you take them back i would

  • +1

WOW… just bought 3 maxibons and 2 heavens = total saving of $18.05… thanks for posting this up otherwise i would have missed out. also bought drive washing detergent which is half price.

  • +1

just bought 10 boxes of maxibons :)

  • Woot! Thanks - all icecreamed up - will save heaps on not doing a macdonalds sundae run :)

  • Full price of Heaven Icecreams at Woolies is $7.79 in Victoria. You save the most buying this brand of icecream in conjunction with this deal. Almost half price!!!

  • i just ate 3 icecreams. feel sick…lol

my local woolies didnt have the sales pricetags up. and i got confused so stood there browsing my iphone to double check i wasnt mistaken. then i went and asked a staff member and he said it shud be fine if its a catalogue offer. there was so much stock cause nobody knew about the sale. so i grabbed tons of maxibons and a drumstick :)

scanned it at the self checkout and nervously waited till the 5th one where it subtracted 17$ or something from the total.

and here i was rushing to woolies in case they sold out like coles did with the 50% off peters ice cream on the first day

    • +2

lol hows that for modern times. You could have gone to the front counter to check the actual paper catalogue.

  • Just stocked up on a nice variety of ice creams =) Very happy with this deal. The fridges at the front of the aisle had plenty of stock included in the deal, with more down in the aisle where they're usually placed too. It seemed like the drumstick sections had lower stock levels than the other ice creams.

  • awesome ! stacked my freezer with ice cream ! yummy!

  • bought 2 maxibon, 2 heaven , 1 drumstick good stock for summer.

  • I went on Australia Day to stock up the pantry and ended up getting 2 boxes of Maxibon, 2 boxes of heaven (macadamia and caramel something or other) and a 6 pack of drumstick. Great deal, saved me $18.05 thanks for posting this deal :-)

You know, just in case someone here prefers Streets Cornetto.

funny at wollies town hall sydney, the magnum is excluded in the offer

    • +2

      magnum is not peters

  • maxibons all gone. Got heaven and drumstick

  • Good deal

  • +1

lol at my local woolies they were sneaky…only the cones were "technically" above the sigh showing the offer..

the maxibons were in a whole different freezer and priced at 7.53 and there were a ton of them left

needless to say a quick self service scan of 5 of them showed a savings of 17+ dollars!!

so yeah look around…ppl at my local store obvious thought the maxibons weren't part of it being so far away hence y no cones left but boxes on boxes of delicious Maxibons were left!!!

  • The sale at my local Food for Less has now reverted to $15 for 3 boxes. They had heaps of Frosty Fruits and Choc Wedges, with some drumstick minis

  • discostu you end up getting that awards card from commbank, when did they send you the form, i just received one(googled it and sore your comments).
