I went to watch 2 movies yesterday at Hoyts Melbourne Central, the ticketing machine printed a few of these vouchers along with the actual tickets. There's no promotional posters at the Hoyts about it but I assume the vouchers are unique and can be used at the box office.
In all of Sydney? If so, anyone can go up to those electronic kiosks and use then right
Do you actually have to buy new tickets on the machine to get the voucher? Or can you get them by just printing bought tickets?

Can confirm that you get these even if you buy your tickets with $10 Optus Movie Voucers
Just incase you guys dont know if you sign up to optus rewards they have $10 tickets all the time excludes sat after 5pm i think.. all you need is to input a optus phone # when you sign up I used a mates.
Telstra does the same for Event Cinemas.
I can confirm these $9 vouchers are also given if purchasing online using vouchers or buying at the ticket box.
Can this be used like buy 1 get one free? Eg: buy 1 ticket then use the voucher right away?
Brilliant idea but they print out with "Not Valid 17/10/15" if you bought them on 17/10. ie: not valid the same day.
I used entertainment book to purchase tickets for village cinema which can be used anytime (even after 5pm saturday)
So if anyone was thinking of going after 5pm there is the option at only a couple of bucks extra than the telstra movie rewards.
I got the same yesterday as well, in Hoyts Sydney.
