I have been looking for a MicroSD Card for my mobile phone.

My initial question was which card should I get and what brand? I decided on a Class 10 quickly but there are different speeds now (48MB/s or 80MB/s, etc). After some research, I decided that a 48MB/s card is more than enough for my usage (mainly photos and videos). I also did some research between different brands (Samsung EVO, Sandisk, etc) and decided that Samsung EVO is better and more reliable than the others for a mobile phone as well.

So, I spoke to danilochan and he was able to give me this deal. Enjoy…

PS. Don't Forget about cashback (1.80%) from PricePal.

well thats $5 i'm never gonna get back

    • What do you mean

      • must have bought this for $5 more than the deal here.

  • When will we see 128gb micro sd under $50?

    • Ebay no name brand ……. said class 10, tested and it does 12M on write …….. $22 …….. works fine in my phone (samsung S5) and camera and playback for 1080p on my TV box. …… class 10 isn't a technology challenge to manufacture anymore hence we are seeing more cards as class 10 but then which version and what speed, batch, etc. How many batches / versions of Sandisk ultra, speeds do we have now, 32M, 48M, 80M. Not sure what the speed of the bus is in a smart phone or camera, and where bottle necks occur.

    • Yep, hanging out for a 128MB Samsung Deal.

      • 128MB? Isn't that a little too much? ;)

        • Ha ;)

  • Still waiting for mine from last deal s now…

  • hmm no 128gb special?

  • I don't think Samsung EVO is available in 128GB size. Should have gone for a couple of those Sandisk Ultra 128GB deals earlier if you really want that size.

  • Does the read speed matter for smartphones? Comparing this 48mb/s vs sandisk ultra's 80mb/s.
But from Crystaldiskmark scores, I see that write speeds are faster for the samsung evo.

no, the smart phone bus is fairly slow ….. not many phones have usb3 high speed ports on them, and class 10 does 1080p video. The fast card is nice when you want to back up 64GB to your PC drive and you have a USB3 card reader ……. or you use the card in reader as a "thumb drive", if you don't have a USB3 port on your PC and USB3 card reader, where is the bottleneck end-to-end on your system.

    • It does matter to some point. However, based on what I read, 48MB/s is enough for a phone. Your phone won't be able to use the full 80MB/s anyway.

  • I cant see the 1.8% cashback from PricePal. I can only see 1%. Is there another link ?

    • It depends on the member level. I'm on the founder level so my cash back is 1.80%. I thought it's the same for everyone.

  • I don't understand your title:
    $25.95HK/$27.95AU Delivered

    Price $26.95.
    Shipping charge $3.95.

    • As per the title said, it's $25.95 from HK or $27.95 from AU with free delivery. You need to use the coupon code. You may need to click update quantity.

  • I'd like to confirm that I got mine on Thursday, so I don't know why others are having issues with shipping.
