A while ago many of us OZb's snagged the $50 red plan on as low as $35 / month. unlimited local + 3-4 GB (depending on your luck) + 300 mins international. Might be worth calling VF to see if they can discount something for you.

I didn't even have sign up for 24 months - month to month plan. Here's an example of a previous deal
