When you're a government-supported monopoly, you have to be dragged kicking and screaming into the present
Worked for me today. Optus 3G (no 4G reception in the loop). Got about 3/5 signal on platform and 2/5 through the tunnel. Though reception became unusable in the tunnel while train was in motion.
At least there is no complete disconnect as previously was the case. When that happened you had to wait for the phone to register again with the network when back in range.
Was working today for me. Telstra 4G.
Apparently they're still "testing" so expect it to sporadically work on and off the following weeks
