Title says it all. I made my order last week and missed out.
For packing purposes orders are in multiples of 50 capsules.

Nespresso will tell you how the non-genuine capsules don't work as well, aren't recyclable, cause the pumps to crap out because they aren't designed for Nespresso machines etc etc etc. Anything to make you pay $1 a cup instead of 40-50c.
Re crapping out pump - has anyone noticed that using non-genuine Nespresso capsules, the water doesn't flow as easily through the capsule? i.e it takes longer to pour a single shot of coffee. Could this cause any damage to the pump? Seems like it takes more effort from my machine to push the water through non-genuine capsules.
I've noticed this
Yes, I have noticed this too. I only use the lungo capsules from LOR as it doesn't seem to have this issue. Also, the Vittoria pods seem to work okay (I'm on my first box). I've been using compatible pods for 2 years now and the Nespresso machine is still working perfectly. Just make sure you use filtered water to avoid calcification/scaling.

Coles Coffee Capsules - $3.70 / 10pk
They're aluminium capped like the original so they pour just as fast - and NO INDIVIDUAL BAGS.
You're welcome.
@cheapbloke: Yep, agree about filtered water, and I always rinse the machine after each coffee (that is, run it without a capsule to clear the inside of all the coffee granules). Machine is going on 2 years and works like new.
I've only been told about it as I use the LOR ones myself like cheapbloke and haven't seen any issues personally. I'm not enough of a coffee snob to taste much difference, the LOR ones taste just fine to me.
@nafe: I've had my machine 2 years & used all manner of imitation ones and some taste pretty poor but once you get one you like then stick with it I reckon.
As for the machine breaking mine still works fine.
Given that the machines can be gotten for about $100 or less I'm in front even if it breaks.
@shweky:
They're not bad - at least the 12 strength. No worse than the other off-brand ones.
Since the pods aren't individually wrapped the box they come in is half the size of the others.
And as a bonus, you can use pod holders/dispensers as well.
Anyone used the Nespresso Descaler kit?
I prefer a using a netscaler with citrix
Nespresso have missed a huge opportunity by not having their pods for sale at Coles/Woolworths. I buy the LOR or Grinders pods when on special ($4.00 for 10 pack), which works out about 40% cheaper than Nespresso pods. I'll admit the Nespresso pods are a bit better, but not 40% better….
