BOSE Soundlink Mini BACKORDERED?

Hello Ozbargainers!

It's my first time posting a thread, i've been a long time Ozbargain user and it's great to see so much community involvement. I thought it would be a great way to discuss my issue. Anyway, I recently ordered the $168 BOSE Soundlink Mini from a Myer sale (found the deal through Ozbargain) and a few days later the status changed to BACKORDERED? What does this mean? I've never gotten this in any of my previous online orders. Thank you.

    The store doesn't have any stock and are waiting to receive more from their supplier.

    As stated, the item is out-of-stock in their warehouse/store. It may only take a few days for them to get more stock in. Have they given you an ETA on when they will have stock?

    I didn't get a choice, they cancelled my order even though I ordered around lunchtime on Friday.
