Hi guys,
I purchased a GoPro from Dicksmith Ebay 30% Deal recently but have yet received the item and it has been 12 days.
I have emailed them on Ebay but have not got a reply yet. Anyone else still waiting on their purchases?

The delivery timeframe for eBay orders can vary based on your location & the volume of orders we are handling, especially at peak periods such as our most recent offer.
Typically, based on the above in our most recent promo we are seeing deliveries made within the range of 4 - 9 business days, in addition we have also had a public holiday to contend with which has added an extra day.
If you can PM us your order number which will begin with an "e" & then the 9 numbers that follow (i.e. e123456789) one of the team will investigate & come back to you directly.

Still waiting for my click and collect order, 9 days now. They wont let you pickup without the ebay collection confirmation so it has been very frustrating. I do not recommend anyone use the click and collect option.
This is just my experience and does not reflect on all stores. Personally I would never ever ever again click and collect from DSE if I really want the item that is on special.
DSE stores are franchisees. Customer service varies. Some store staff does not bother to put aside goods for click and collect.. One time staff put stock quickly into the bag and gave to me. I was dumb enough to go without checking. Demo stock with open box was given as new, I asked for a new one instead. More importantly, they hold stock for only one or two days, if you haven't heard back, call the store the next day or so after purchase. If it is on super special, highly likely an insider will get it instead of you. Have no problem for home delivery as goods are sent from warehouse.
They use TOLL and they are just awful…
The public holiday was a still a working mail day so that isn't an excuse.
TOLL are a million times faster then Aus post and better customer service aswell.
Their customer service isn't bad. However they still don't understand the concept of a gate and how to open one.
Maybe it is just TOLL combined with Dicksmith

Highly recommend you call up the customer service no to get a tracking number for Toll. That is the real confirmation. Nothing against DS ebay, but their ebay processing isnt upto the standards. Feel free to check my comment below.
I got my order from TOLL within two days.
Dse takes days to answer emails….calls are hard work too.
But you always get what you ordered…. Best advise is to pay with paypal, so you always have that up your sleeve

A number of Ozbargain members, myself included ordered items during the last Ebay 30% deal and we are still waiting for delivery.
In most cases, we have received an email days ago advising me that the item had shipped. However, according to Toll it hasn't even been picked up yet.
Can you please advise what is going on here? I'd like to know when I can expect delivery so I can be home.
Bought the Samsung TV during that promo as well, it says delivery between Tuesday Oct 20 - Tuesday Oct 27.
Tried to email (via eBay), no reply except the out-of-office reply.Tried to call them today and I'm already on hold for more than 15 mins.
Anyone knows if they ship on weekend?I highly recommend you guys call up the customer service to track the order. A week after I placed an order on ebay to get the confirmation from ebay and paypal, I called the customer service only to be told that the store never received the order . had I not called them, they would have not checked this.
Then they kept bouncing between the stores for an other week because they couldnt figure out where the order was being processed from. It took them about 3 weeks to get it to me, plus I never received the Toll ticket no to track the transaction. I had to call up the customer service team again for this.
It was a nightmare experience. I will have to rethink about buying from dick smith ebay again.
PS: I work in sales myself and dont like to shut my doors on a seller in one go. But I will be wary of these things the next time when I place an order.
