Nintendo are advertising it at "less than $30" on TV - it's $18 at GAME online with free shipping Australia wide. Not sure if the deal is the same in store.

  • Bought this about a week ago from Game for $18.00. Can verify that I receieved an Australian version, unlike the $9 Spyro game where I received a UK version ie. not good for trading at JB. It's an excellent deal for $18 delivered, Targets current price is $25.00.

  • what does a uk version mean? can we not play them here?

  • you can play UK games, but most places won't allow them to be traded in

    • yes exactly, they will play fine, but most of the time can't be traded.

  • The problem I found with the original is you spent too much time in menus clicking/waiting for stuff, really ruined the workout. I just want to do 30 minutes working out solid, not 2 minutes working out, 1 minutes wading through the menu etc.

The description on the site seemed to suggest you could do that in the new version, can anyone confirm?

    • Rodh, there's a menu where it combines exercise depending on what area you want to work out. It's pretty good. I like it better than the original version.

  • Looks like its $29.95 now

    • Looks that way to me.

  • Is it possible to buy the boards separately, and cheaply? I'd love the full Wii Fit Plus setup, but I'm the biggest cheapskate alive. :)

    • You can get third party balance boards around. I was looking to source them a while back — cost price is between 30-40USD, so you do the math for about what it will sell at down under (somewhere between 70-90).

      • Hey Pais,

Care to post a link to where you found some third party boards that cheap? I've been looking for the last half hour and have only found one, and its crazy expensive! Cheers :)

        • Sorry, these are from wholesalers and don't really sell direct to consumers. Their MOQ is 50 units… and you'd have to arrange for shipping :) So, unless you've got a container coming from China already, it's probably not viable.

  • I just bought this cos I have 'played the game' (if you can call it that?) at other peoples houses and it really is quite fantastic.

My question now is, how and where do you buy the board separately?

I have done a quick search but not found anything. Are there generic boards out there for it? I don't really see the point in being able to buy it individually if it's not possible to buy the board as a stand alone.

  • Yes, sells this black wii board with blue lights on the side by itself for 79$

    • Hey mate, who sells a black wii board with blue lights for $79?

  • Well looks like that's finished already. Well that was fast. I'll keep my eye on it for the next couple of days. It's now cheaper at EB - I don't think I've ever said that before!

  • If anyone missed out then check out Shopping Square's Wii sale - Fit Plus is only $14.95 (+ postage) while their Wii sale is on:

    http://www.shoppingsquare.com.au/category.php?mode=promotion…

    • Typical SQ rip-off postage charge!

      $9.99 to SA 5000

      • Same to VIC. Pretty much makes it the same price you'd pay retail.

  • I won't recommand "game online" to anybody anymore,my first order was cancelled due to out of order, second order not been delivered and no track number because they can't find one, at last I have to cancel the order. these sort of poor "bargain" online customer service, I personally won't recommand to anyone. it is first time I experienced purchse but no track number as "special delivery", first time I experience that special treatment that I personally have to track the parcel. anyway, just to say I cancel my order, no more deal any more for me on game online, maybe instore. I just want raise people's awareness when you guys make the order that's all.
    thank you

Unfortunately since this was a special delivery, it was not logged in our system and therefore I am not able to provide you with a tracking number.

I suggest that you contact your local post office and enquire as to whether or not they are holding the parcel there. In some instances, the Post Office had held customers' parcels without notifying them or the notifying slip was missed by the recipient.

    • Iv'e bought probably 15 or so games from them over the past few months…. all with their free shipping, and they've all come via express eparcel. Never once had a problem.

      • I just mention when there is a problem, their customer service is not there and keen to assist or help, mainly just "if you are not happy, you can cancel the order", that's all my point is. Of course, the circumstance I was in is quite rare, that it make me hard to belive that I receive the email from them to ask me (the buyer) to check the parcel without the track number, that's all I want to say, "poor customer service", if you lucky, then you are, if not, don't count on them. That's all matters to them.
        Thanks.

  • this is a good deal

  • Just purchased it online. Still at $18 and free postage! I've haven't had a problem with Game Online so far and the local store can never match their online specials.

  • ^Agree, it's no longer expired and appears available for purchase.

  • Just purchased it for $18 with free postage as well.
