I replaced my Toyota 2006 paper speakers in my doors with a similar pair a couple of years ago and there was a noticed improvement. They are very bright speakers, so don't expect much bass. I would recommend a subwoofer also.
I'm still very happy with the sound when combined with my 12" sub.

  got 2 for my subaru gf8 and also a $130 sony head unit
  rear door panel need some mods to fit but totally worth the price

      My old stock speaker makes rattle noise when the bass comes in.. so it does makes a big difference and producing some decent sound consider its only $20/set.
      and the sony headunit has mass bass feature so the bass is acceptable to me.

      Initially I went to Autobarn found out they got similar sony sound upgrade kit (1 headunit that doesn't support iphone and a pair of 3-way speakers) for $200 not include the labor for install (about $150), I was almost going to pay for it but when I went back to the audio room to double check the headunit, there are 2 radom guy suggest me not to buy audio from autobarn because its overpriced, so I took their advice and went to supecheap then saved my self about 200 bucks! spent couple hours on the wiring but I'm pretty happy with the result.

  Wow I almost bought these exact ones when they were $39 during the eBay $50 voucher madness. So glad I held off.
