Went into Dick Smith yesterday to pick up a click and collect order and was told that I could not.
The staff member told me there was a site error and all Click and Collect pickups are on hold until further notice for all stores.
Anybody else heard any updates about this?
Asked on Facebook but there has been no response, even though they make other posts.
UPDATE: Just called my local store and I am all good to pick up my order, should be good for others also.
Yup thats right i went to dse to pick up my click n collect. They said same thing to me.
And no Amex anymore :(
I just got a comment from someone on Facebook saying that I should call my local as they think it is resolved now.
Just got off the phone and I am all good to collect my order.
DSE are really frustrating. I ordered on the 4th and have not had a single update on my Click and Collect order. Not impressed at all, I bet it is sitting in the store waiting for collection and they are too lazy to update customers orders or at least send a message. If they have system issues the least they can do is send out an email to all the customers that are affected..
Try ringing them up as I have not received a email to collect but the staff told me I could.
This is an email I received yesterday from them:
Dear Valued Customer,
Thanks for recently placing your Click & Collect order with us.
Unfortunately we had a technical issue that has resulted in us being unable to process your Click & Collect order to be ready within our normal 24 hour timeframe.
The good news is the issue is now fully resolved & your order will shortly be ready for collection at which time you will receive both an email & SMS from Dick Smith confirming that you can visit your nominated store to collect at your convenience.
I'm having the same problem… bought from eBay on 30/9/2015, have not heard from DSE at all… went into the store today and they told me they can't let me collect my purchases. have message them multiple times on eBay and emailed them via their contact us page on their website and have not heard anything from them… what should I do?
So it was a click and dick order
