Hey guys, so I have a major service coming up for my 2006 mazda.
Just wondering, is it worth it to do the service at a Mazda dealership, or should I just go to a local garage to get it done there?
Is doing it at Mazda worth the extra $$??
cheers

Maybe OP should ask how much to do service from both parties first and decide whether OP should go and get a Tomtom with the price difference. Given that the car is almost 10 years old, I would expect the cost of servicing at Mazda would be somewhere in between astronomical and ridiculous. :)
Got my 2006 toyota serviced regularly at some garage at Arncliffe, couldn't be happier. I stopped with Toyota servicing after the warranty run out.
Top 1 is famous in Sydney for their knowledge and work on Hondas
Been taking our "new car" to Ultratune for the last 10 years and no complaints so far. They claim to service according to the manufacturer's specifications.
Servicing your car at the dealership doesn't guarantee a better service. If it is a new car it will only help with possible warranty disputes.
I had a very bad experience with a Toyota dealership many years ago when they forgot to plug back half the spark plugs after a service. I only found out after driving the car for 2 hours when it overheated.
+1 for my local Ultratune which services my 2003 Mazda. They always call me if the car needs any extra work doing and do a good job and car is always finished on time.
Don't care about Sean Buckley or Tony Mokbel.
Ultratune is owned by a bloke who doesn't pay his tax bills and has links to Tony Mokbel - i'm not a fan of spending my money with crooks….but each to their own
he is the chief exec
and the other stuff i mentioned….

like i said, if you want to give your money to that type of person, that's your choice
Unless you do background checks every time you pull out your wallet/purse how do you know you haven't given your money to a crook or someone evading tax?
unless you live with your head up your arse in the sand, you would know who sean buckley is and who his business cohorts are ;)
Or maybe people just have better things to do with their lives, just saying.
do you know who Mokbel is?
Never heard of Sean Buckley and couldn't give a rats.
Have you heard of John Ascot? If not then you must have been living in a hole.
Never heard of the dude. Tax office chasing thousands of tax cheats. I don't keep a list with me sorry.
Sean who? Your lucky my first 30 days as a member aren't up as I would of neg'd you already…
Thank god for bookmarks ;)
No. They update your GPS though, if you have one.
