Cross between Automotive & Mobile categories, but probably more related here. I'm sure some are aware that there's a bunch of new cars and car stereos trying to get in early in things like Apple Carplay, Android Auto and Mirrorlink. Well this is about Mirrorlink!
I work at Suzuki, and the new Vitara comes with Mirrorlink support. But documentation is scarce and as I need to sell these things, and people will ask, I had to work it out! Armed with my S5 and Google, I've managed to work out that I can get Spotify and BringGo to work on this system (though you wouldn't need BringGo anyway, as the system already has onboard GPS. It was still installed from my Holden days).
So long story short, download Rockscout, and that will allow you to run Spotify.
So far BringGo & Spotify are the only apps I can get to work, but it's still in it's infancy stage so hopefully it won't be long before more are made available.

Sounds like it is an alternate to interfaces like apple carplay… Havent been able to dig out too much info otherwise. Hope this helps!
