Sorry, my first….will have to learn from mistakes :(

Just ignore it and read this: https://www.accc.gov.au/publications/consumer-guarantees-rep…
As the manufacturer has NO obligation to provide headphones to you with the device, they are within their legal rights to warrant them for only 6 months and as they are not integral to the operation of the device they are also in their rights to limit the warranty to 6m.
I have had this very argument with a manufacturer and took it to the ACCC and the above was the response i got from them
So sadly, they can say 6m on accessories and sadly you have to accept it.
You can almost certainly say they're part of the phone package/come with the phone/should last as long as the phone. As above ignore whatever ridiculous things the seller says and read the ACCC flyer.
You bought a phone in the future? Do you own a DeLorean?
Haha
Another one of those threads… Have you thought to call and ask The Good Guys first?
Wait a sec you bought it in July right and you said it yourself

It's now October?
Just take it to a good guys store and show them or better still take it to a Samsung store if you are in Melbourne or Sydney.
