Hey everyone,
Summer is coming and the weather has been pretty brutal.
The fans that i use at home are all plastic ones that don't really have much power.
Just wondering if anyone has a fan that they would recommend for everyday use.
Thanks.

Yeah we got a Kincrome industrial fan sitting at a corner of living room and you can feel the coolness across living room, dining area and kitchen (big open plan area of my house).
Super loud though, and costs us way more than $20 :(
For bedrooms — ceiling fan.
I've got this one. It's plastic but pretty powerful and quiet.
install a ceiling fan instead.
Do have one but still crazy warm in the evenings :(.
I have a Dyson Hot + Cool which I use in the bedroom.
Those industrial looking fans are awesome and nearly blow you across the room provided you can stand the jet engine noise.
We bought Kambrook Artic HV. It cost roughly $89 but it moves a lot of air and you can sleep through it being on.
I just use my newest fan - usually pick one up at the bar or club late november or early December..good for about 2-3 months of daily use over the holidays ; )
Both my fans are metal and from Big W, have a small one and a standing one, the speed is a bit higher than a plastic one, but so much cooler, brand name is Fena
Yeah i usually use the plastic ones and they tend to not be very effective. Metal ones seem much better.
You mean Fenici?
That's the one, the light was reflecting it off the logo
I put a sign out front saying "new iPhone release" and pretty soon I have a hundred fans.
but seriously, for the lounge a 60cm diameter standing fan. just to push the air around a little.
I bought this industrial one at Big W for $20 last year. The circumference of the fan is pretty big and its fully metal. It does the job and you can feel the coolness for a good few meters.
The only thing I probably wouldn't suggest using it is when you're in bed. They get quite loud unless you can sleep throughout loud noises
But yeah, I'd stick with metal ones
