Seeking Buying Advice from CPL Online, TCC, My Projectors, Elite Electronics

Hi all ,am in the final steps of buying a Benq W1080St+ with 2 X 3d Glasses .I have seen the prices vary from $1285 - $1800 between various online and Brick and mortar stores across Melbourne, surprisingly all offering the 2 Years Full Genuine Benq Australia Warranty. The cheapest I have seen is at Elite electronics followed by cpl online, My projectors ,The cable connection and few other stores. I haven’t dealt with any of these people in the past and is seeking my Oz bargain friends advice .PS-Some of them declined price match despite advertising to do so. Also I have asked to provide serial number of the product so that I can counter check with Benq Australia to make sure that it’s not Grey imported but Sellers doesn’t seem keen in that too.

  Pretty specialised topic to be impatient after 51 minutes!
  I'm still waiting for the second globe in my PJ to die before I can justify an upgrade, so I haven't bought from any of them but TCC used to push deals on OzB a few years back.

    Thanks scubacoles, i have asked same thing in our forum back in June-july when i started my homework on projectors and had only few replies and that too without much help.Surprised to see that only few people used these stores (assuming from the lack of response about reviews). Elite electronics had a very good review in product review and cpl online got the worst i have ever seen.But i trust ozb reviews/opinions more.

      If you're just looking for general feedback on the stores, probably best not to mention Projector… Straight away that's going to narrow the scope of responses you get, cause very few people own a PJ.

        If you want opinions on CPL, My PRojectors, Cable Connection etc. then put them in the title. Otherwise the lowish number of users who have shopped at one or the other will miss the thread.
        For the record, I have bought a couple of SD cards from CPL without incident, but never anything valuable.
