So I was thinking of trading in Gamecube stuff instead of selling them on ebay (cause the fees negate the whole thing) so I called up my local stores and asked what I would get knowing they're franchise owned and that I would get different prices. So this is what they would give me:
Macarthur (told me they wanted to see the condition first): Luigi's Mansion $10-$20
Parramatta: Luigi's Mansion $20, Phantasy Star Online Episode I & II $30
Blacktown: Luigi's Mansion $25, Phatasy Star Online $40
I didn't ask about Phantasy Star at Macarthur because they were already hesitant to do this over the phone and I would have asked about more but once again I was over the phone. The price for Phantasy Star is better then I expected and probably better than what I would get if I sold it on ebay. Only problem is they give you store credit like JB and their store prices suck but I'll probably trade this stuff in at Blacktown and preorder something. I never hear anything about people trading in at Gametraders, does anyone here do it? Should I take down some Xbox 360 games as well?
Back in the day I used to do a fair bit of trading with them, PC games mostly, but was always able to get cash instead of having to trade for store credit. (I used to take box loads in, got me quite a bit of coin, which in turn I blew on PC upgrades, and more games.)
It's a pretty quick and easy process. (Or at least, was.)
