I am using Vodafone Wi-fi device and it keeps disconnecting after every 2 minutes, i have taken the device to Vodafone to replace the sim and RESET the device few times but not sure whats causing this.
It was working fine in first few weeks of purchase but getting more and more disconnects every day.
Has anyone experienced something similar? Any thoughts for alternatives please?
Vodafone does have 850MHZ.. and has for a long time now.

Depends on the model… All the current Wifi models since 2014 are 850 compataible
try a different usb cable.
try different usb port
uninstall drivers using usbdeview and then reinstall.

ahhh ok. You can run that device through usb too. Currently using it that way myself.
i 'll try that, is it giving you any trouble in dropping signals after every 1-2 min?
my device was good in start but now i think its getting worse every day….
nope, it drops signal every few hours though.

I have a second battery for mine. One came with a little sponge "nipple" on one side. It may need some additional pressure to push into the contacts to ensure proper connection. Maybe you have intermittent contact with the gold connectors?
Vodafone doesn't support the 850Mhz network. Seems like that has the most coverage compared to the others.
