Why Does Amazon UK Show Different (Usually Lower) Prices When Checking out?

Hey all,

I've made my first two orders on Amazon UK. The first was for Luther Season 1-3 Bluray which was £23 but went down to £18.33. I just pre-ordered Hannibal Season 3 Bluray for a listing price of £25 but my order checked out for £20.83. I'm not complaining, but why is it getting cheaper at checkout?

  UK has 20% VAT, so maybe it detected you were overseas and didn't charge the tax?
