recently lots of watches deals (from cotd, starjewels) etc
example:

now, anyone can recommend cheap (but reliable and not damaging the watch bands) tools to adjust the bands (mostly, shortening)? i have metal so probably focus on the tools for metal bands first, but maybe others also need the tools to make extra holes on the leather type bands.
found a lot on ebay but not sure which one is easy to use and more importantly, not damaging/scratching the bands while in the process.
from $1

I rarely adjust watch bands, so I just use a thin metal pin and small hammer to remove the watch link pins. I cut a deep groove in a small wooden block and drilled a hole in the centre to hold the band.
The inside of the band has arrows to indicate which links can be removed, and which direction to push the pin out.
There's two easy tools you can get to push the pins out, as seen in this YouTube vid
The eBay tools will do the job if you use them gently. It looks like most are sent slowly from overseas, despite the stated 'item location'.
This one has the essential tools, $13.99 delivered (estimated to be within a week).
Maybe others have their own suggestions.
